Common issues

Wean isn't tracking my apps

Open Settings → Usage access in Wean and make sure Usage Access is granted. Android requires this permission for the app to see how long you use other apps.

Blocking isn't kicking in

App blocking needs Wean's Accessibility Service turned on. Go to Settings → Accessibility on your phone, find Wean, and enable it.

Budgets reset or look wrong

Budgets take about a week to fully learn your rhythm — until then, Wean falls back to a simple daily limit. This is expected for new installs.

The app was force-stopped and blocking stopped

Android fully stops background tracking if you (or the system) force-stop the app. Just reopen Wean once and it picks back up automatically.
